On 29 September, the British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (BSCC) held its Annual General Meeting at the residence of His Excellency Ambassador Edward Ferguson in Belgrade.
Chaired by the Lord Kulveer Ranger of Northwood, the meeting gathered our members in person and online, uniting participants from Serbia and the United Kingdom.
The meeting provided an opportunity to formally review the Chamber’s activities and achievements throughout 2024, and to reflect on the progress made so far in 2025. We also discussed our strategic plans for the year ahead, including the development of new initiatives, potential partnerships and opportunities for collaboration.
In addition, board elections were taken place, new BSCC team members were introduced and new members to the Chamber were welcomed.
A further announcement was that the BSCC will be delivering the second edition of the UK–Western Balkans Business Summit, together with the Department for Business and Trade and the UK Export Finance. The Summit (https://lnkd.in/gqJ3H9h8) will take place on 20 November in Lozionica, Belgrade , and it represents a major initiative aimed at strengthening bilateral economic ties between the UK and the Western Balkans.
The evening concluded with a beautiful reception hosted at the residence of the British Ambassador. Our heartfelt thanks to our members and to the speakers who contributed to the event, including a wonderful presentation from Dejan Stupar (OMR) and Chris Ellis (GDC). We are also deeply grateful to our generous sponsors - Fuller’s Brewery, Food Concept, and Varina Vina - whose support as sponsors contributed to the success of this memorable event.
We extend our sincere thanks to all members of the Chamber for their continued engagement and support. The BSCC remains committed to deepening UK–Serbia business relations and creating lasting value for our members.
