AstraZeneca signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation

This week a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation and AstraZeneca Serbia on joining the "BIO4 Campus" project. 

Within this project, AstraZeneca will fund the genetic testing for BRCA mutations in early breast cancer patients, as well as support the use of AI in screening for early lung cancer detection and also ensuring that in Serbia there are more clinical trials, as we aim to establish a clinical trial team in the country in the near future. 

This project that will aim to improve the healthcare system and foster the economic and infrastructural development of the scientific community.
