Interview with Nikola Vucinic, CEO of Factory

Could you share what is Factory's secret to a success?

Nikola: I believe that clear and carefully set goals, no matter how difficult their realisation may be in some moments, are one of the very important factors for the company's success. In addition, continuous improvement and learning are elementary steps without which any progress is impossible. Moreover, if there is a chance to further develop oneself with gaining knowledge from more experienced people, then this is definitely the best outcome. Last but certainly not the least, the final factor everyone needs to succeed is luck itself. No matter how hardworking, persistent and disciplined you are, you have to wait for a moment where all the factors including luck come together in order to achieve an overall success.

Factory is the only company from Serbia that found its place on the impressive Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Central Europe 2022 list. Can elaborate more on how important this achievement is for you?

Nikola:Of course, any validation of a job well done means greatly to us, specially when the recognition comes from a renowned company such as one of the Big 4. Deloitte Central Europe recognised Factory as a promising company, putting it on the list of 50 fast-growing companies in Central Europe, and we hope to achieve a similar result next year.

Could you share your experience of collaborating with the BSCC thus far?

Nikola: I have found the BSCC to be an invaluable resource for connecting with other like-minded individuals in the business world. The Chamber's community is supportive, and I highly recommend collaborating with them.

What are your business plans for the year 2023?

Nikola:Our plans are mostly consistant, the only adjustment is year itself. Our plan is for the year 2023. is to keep the same momentum as last year, with only achieving higher results, setting a target that we will work hard to beat next year.
