What are the trends and changes coming to us in the field of technology and user needs? As someone who works in the IT industry and is an innovator at the same time, what topics are most often on your daily thinking list?
Sava: We are witnessing the transition that is happening in technology from Web2 solutions to Web3. Also a large use of machine learning and AI, but at the same time a greater need for security and the ability to verify the veracity and relevance of sources.
Changes are also taking place in the habits and needs of users around the world, where the desire to do things in the digital world quickly, easily and safely is even more noticeable. This is especially prominent in the e-commerce industry. In today's world, the security of personal and credit card data should be a top priority when it comes to gaining your customers' trust. Security in any organisation is a highly important topic.
There we will see changes regarding the way purchases are made, the appearance of even more services related to payment, as well as types of delivery. More and more companies are entering financial services. The use of 'Buy Now, Pay Later' (BNPL) has skyrocketed last year.
In addition to providing a top-notch product, one of the most crucial things your company can do to increase sales is to promote free shipping. This is supported by research from the National Retail Federation, which found that 75% of consumers anticipate receiving free economy delivery when they make an online purchase. Offering this increasingly common amenity to potential clients will increase conversion rates across the board for your business. We see that consumers are adapting many different channels aside from online shops and we can provide such sales channels to merchants.
You recently started active promotion of the platform that you have been developing for more than 5 years, which can have its application from e-commerce, business process integration to smart city. Can you tell us more about that?
Sava: Our mission is to make business easy – make it easy and secure to connect with other businesses, produce and sell. Our Köpa platform is an innovative Web3 Unified Commerce Network that offers the most secure and convenient omni-channel instant checkout integrated with merchants’ business processes.
Köpa is safe for the environment as it minimises power consumption, increases security, and provides a secure and efficient way of shopping that saves time.
Web3 aims to create a decentralised internet, free of the influence of large corporations. Essentially, online content created by the people and owned by the people (the read-write-own web). Web3 advocates believe that it will democratise the web, helping create new online services, products, and types of corporations and economies so that everyone controls the flow of information and everyone makes money, not just those at the top of monopolies.
What are your plans in the coming period?
Sava: We have great ambitions regarding the further development of our platform. Our plans are to expand to new markets, except for the Western Balkans where we are already active, as well as collecting additional investments for stronger growth and reaching global competitiveness.
On the one hand, we develop services that help micro and small businesses to make better placement and sales of their products, through the integration of their work with social networks and payment institutions.
On the other hand, for larger businesses, our platform can integrate and simplify many complicated business processes.
