Last Sunday (March 23rd), the British Embassy together with several British companies as sponsors took part in planting nearly 200 trees along the side of the Sava. The British Wood was planted as part of the Mayor of Belgrade's initiative for International Forest Day. The tree planting initiative helps provide both a pleasant and healthy environment within the city through the promotion of green spaces; as well as spreading awareness of the environment and biodiversity. We are happy to see both the Embassy and businesses coming together in both building British-Serbian connections and supporting environmental sustainability.
